Union Public Service Commission is the constitutional body which conducts examination for All India Civil Services as well as other central services of India. Every year lakhs of students go through the process of civil services examination which selects the meritorious students for services such as IAS, IPS, IFoS (Indian Forest Services) and IFS(Indian Foreign Services).

The process of UPSC exam begins with preliminary examination held every year around May-June, followed by Mains and Personality Test after qualifying the preliminary examination.
